Two things have been important to me since I started thinking about what I wanted to do in the world: art, and the spaces we spend our lives in.
In high school, I wanted to be an architect, because I wanted to make giant sculptures people would live in, and not just wander by in a gallery once in their lives.
I interned with some architects in high school and realized that giant inhabitable sculpture is not what architects mostly end up doing, so I decided to major in fine art in college.
